Data Processing Addendum

This addendum summarizes Falaq Pixel's data processing role, subject matter, retention, subprocessors, and support for merchant data protection requests.

Last Updated: May 25, 2026

Parties and role

This Data Processing Addendum applies when Falaq Solutions processes personal data for a merchant through Falaq Pixel. Falaq Pixel is provided under the Falaq Solutions trade name. The Arabic legal name is شركة فلق العالمية لإدارة المشاريع. The English legal name is still to be confirmed where required for formal contracting.

For merchant event data, the merchant is generally the controller or business, and Falaq Solutions is generally the processor or service provider. The exact roles may depend on the applicable law and the merchant's use of the service.

Processing instructions

Falaq Solutions processes personal data to provide Falaq Pixel according to the merchant's configuration, the applicable agreement, and documented instructions. If an instruction appears unlawful or technically unsafe, we may pause or decline that instruction and ask the merchant for clarification.

Subject matter and purpose

The processing covers ecommerce event collection, normalization, routing, logging, support, security, payment operations, and operational analytics for Falaq Pixel. The purpose is to help merchants send selected ecommerce events from their connected stores on Shopify, Salla, or Zid to configured advertising and marketing destinations.

Categories of data

The service may process store identifiers, event timestamps, order identifiers, product metadata, transaction value, currency, customer identifiers, contact identifiers, browser identifiers, IP address, user agent, cookies, click IDs, destination platform IDs, and technical logs.

Categories of data subjects

Data subjects may include merchant customers, site visitors, merchant staff, and Falaq Pixel administrators or support contacts.

Duration and retention

Processing lasts for the term of the merchant's use of Falaq Pixel. By default, event and operational records are retained for 24 months unless a shorter period is required by law, requested by the merchant, or needed for deletion after account closure.

Data residency and transfers

Falaq Pixel is designed to store application data in the European Union, currently in AWS eu-central-1 through our database and hosting providers. Destination platforms and subprocessors may process data in other regions under their own terms, transfer mechanisms, and privacy policies.

Confidentiality and security

Falaq Solutions limits access to personal data to personnel and service providers who need it to operate or support Falaq Pixel. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for the current service, including access controls and encrypted transport where supported.

Subprocessors

The merchant authorizes use of the following subprocessors and destination platforms for Falaq Pixel. A platform receives data only when it is used to provide the service or when a merchant configures that destination.

If Falaq Pixel later adds Stripe for international merchants, Falaq Solutions will provide subprocessor notice before Stripe is used for merchant billing.

Assistance

Taking into account the nature of the service and information available to us, Falaq Solutions will provide reasonable assistance for merchant requests related to data subject rights, security questions, and deletion or export requests. Merchants can contact support@falaq.solutions.

Deletion or return

After termination or written request, Falaq Solutions will delete or return personal data where technically feasible, unless retention is required by law, security, dispute resolution, backup lifecycle, or legitimate operational records.
